Stone Manor Studios is located on the grounds of an 1860s stone manor house in the heart of Rideau Lakes. The renovated carriage house has been repurposed as an exclusive art studio for creatives. People gather to learn from experts in their fields, engage in meaningful conversations about art, and are provided with an unforgettable experience that will inspire, refresh, and enrich the creative heart and mind. It is the perfect surroundings to immerse yourself in one of our art retreats.
We imagine a place where creativity flourishes, where imaginations are fed with expert instruction and extended conversations, where we gather to explore deeper meanings to improve or develop our creative skills, and where the experience we share at Stone Manor Studios will renew and inspire our individual talents and enrich our communities for years to come.
We offer weekend and week-long art retreats and special pop-up workshops in a spacious and newly renovated art studio. Partipants use 2.5 acres of forest and grounds for quiet walks and gatherings. Quality teaching from respected instructors offers classes that balance theory and practical teaching. At Stone Manor Studios, we add pre- and post-class events meant to inspire and delight the senses, build community, and reinforce learning.

Stone Manor Studios recognizes that it was established on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee peoples, which are covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. These lands have long been the traditional territory of the Arendarhonan, Huron-Wendat Nation, Oneida, Haudenosaunee Nation, and Mississaugas, Anishinaabeg Nation.
As settlers, we express gratitude to the generations of people who have called this land home and appreciate the opportunity to live and collaborate on Turtle Island. We acknowledge the historical impact of our ancestors' arrival, including the injustices and inequalities that continue to affect communities today. Together, we strive to heal these wounds and work towards a more equitable and inclusive future for all.
Give the gift of art! Our gift cards can be used for classes, workshops, and purchases in our gallery. Perfect for any occasion.
